Battlegrounds matchmaking

I am in plat 2, account rating under 500k prestige 9.2k and I'm matched with players having entire decks of rank 3+ 6*s, often with multiple 7*s. I still have multiple 4*s in my deck! I've pushed far and expect a challenge but this is ridiculous, I've lost 15+ matches in a row due to having a roster 10% the size of my opponent. What is going on kabam?? Skill based matchmaking??

You're matching against those players because that's the average strength of the players in Platinum 2. Clearly, you're better than most of the players in P3, or G1, or G3, or Silver 1. Did you expect the game to keep looking for those players so you can beat them up all the way to GC? Is the game supposed to wait for more 9.2k prestige players to arrive in P2 to match against you? Or is the game supposed to just give more 9.2k prestige players free promotions into P2 so you have more accounts to destroy?

This is not a bug, this is a feature. This isn't happening by accident, this is happening deliberately, by design, because low roster players are not supposed to have an easy path to GC. You got all the way to P2. Many players with far stronger rosters don't even make it half as far because the accounts you think are unfairly beating you in P2 were beating them in S2 and blockading their ability to advance farther.

MCOC is not looking for the most "skilled" BG player. It is looking for the strongest players. The ones that can win the most often. Your roster is part of your strength.
