Cassie Lang - Sp1, Heavy & Giant Form bugged ?

Just got my brand new Cassie Lang yesterday and brought her up straight to R4 just to find that she is not working correctly. She is missing attacks by not being able to make contact from her Sp1, Heavy and Giant form. She fails to connects attack while being within the necessary space to be able to hit the opponent. The worst part is that I advise everyone to not use her Sp3 since that will trigger her giant form and make the situation a lot worse. I will provide video of how she kept missing her 5th attack because her kick went over the opponent 😂. I think this a problem she is having with her interactions with the opponent’s hitbox…. Kabam can we get some info if this character is “working correctly” or is she bugged ?

Can you provide the video? Hard to say what the cause might be without it.

I got her the first day she was released and noticed the same issues you are having now.

I have her at r4 and use her almost everyday since her release
And shes still broken. She regularly misses hits in her sp1, her heavy and her sp2.
I posted multiple times in the bug forums with videos on multiple issues and Kabam didnt respond or acknowledge them.

I've been experiencing this a lot, especially the sp1 not connecting after a combo which has been going on since her release and then most recently after the 1st hit of her heavy attack the opponent just recovers and retaliate with a combo or a special if they have taunt debuff on them, luckily some sp1 are very short in Animations like iron man's that it misses entirely till she finishes her heavy attack animations.

Thank you for the continued reports about Cassie Lang. The team assures me they, prior to today, had identified and were working to resolve a couple of issues, some you all mentioned in this thread.

However, with the information you provided they were also able to suss out a new issue!

They're already working on resolving these bugs ASAP.

Wow ! I didnt know it was noticed by so many. I've kept playing with her and she seems to have lots of bugs. Will try to make a list :
1. In her giant form she seems to have trouble hitting her target specially her last hit from thdi combo M-l-l-l-M where her kick goes over her target.
2. Sp1 sometimes miss to connect with the opponent giving them time to block.
3. Once you activate heavy and it connects the first hit sometimes the enemy can interrupt it and hit you back while you are still performing the heavy attack.

If I notice anything else will be sure to write it here. Please fix her bugs she is such an awesome champion.

Yep, I'm also experienced these bugs. I have no idea what is causing these problem, but it feel like
1. Giant form miss attack - Hit box issue.
2. SP1 Miss or Opponent block - Hit box and speed of the SP1 animation
3. Heavy get interrupted midway - Speed of animation, her heavy 3 hits animation just too slow.

She seem like a good champ, but just too buggie (ironically, as in MCOC she go by Cassie and not Ant-Girl lol). Really hope she get fix soon

Still not fixed. It's sad cause I really like using her, but when I connect on the first hit of the heavy then get smacked by the opponent's special cause the 2nd hit of her heavy doesn't connect makes me hate using her.

Hey @Kabam Zibiit do we have any insight on the FAM question about his sp2 burst only triggering while the power detonation is active? There has been no response on that thread.

What alarms me is that cassie has been around for months and we still have her bugged… meaning that this may take kabam a lo g time to fix. I have her out of war and BG since she you never know when her bugs will happen and cost you the fight. If kabam doesn't want or cant fix her then just give us rank down tickets Because at this point I invested R4 materials into a broken champion.

Fantmans bugs affect his actual abilities and could easily be mistaken as intentional, while Cassie's bugs just make her miss hits and get punished when she shouldn't at times, which is known to be very unintentional at this point.

We already had a thread dedicated to Cassie's bugs with mod comments and all, which is what you're commenting under. We didn't have any word on Fantmans bugs until this patch notes release, which is why they went ahead and added them to the patch and didn't add Cassie's.

The bug of her stings reducing 90% damage instead of 40% got fixed immediately, yet here we are, kabam still looking into it. Until the mcoc just live with it. I guess 60% chance of heavy working every time is working as intended
