Is EQ episode 3 bugged?

Earlier today I did episode 3 threat level 5 and I killed Mantis with two sp3s. However, I just tried level 5 again to get 100% and my sp3s are doing zero damage. Was it bugged before and they fixed it or was it fine before but it's bugged now for whatever reason?
