I-doom not being Armor break immune is ridiculous

As a tech champion, generally weak to armour breaks. With cosmic class being armour break heavy, I think it would be odd for him to be armour break immune
Lately many cosmics have been immune to nullify, stagger etc so it won't be that weird to have IDoom be Armor break immune.....at least against Non-Cosmics
    How many cosmics
Galan, Hulkling, Adam Warlock....all 3 have some form of immunity / counter ability against primary Mystic effects

That's 3 out of 4 cosmic released in last 11 months
The only cosmic released recently who isn't immune to any of these mystic effects is Gorr

Just 1 Tech champ being Armor break immune that too against non cosmic champs (like Collossus is immune against non-techs) definitely wouldn't have been a big deal

But, You did the 5 hits combo with IIM

with Doom You did 4 hits and heavy combo

The ai intercepting you in the gif is you fault, you did a combo finisher and then tried to go for the heavy. The AI then had a window to throw a sp attack. It could do the same thing to dr doom. Simple fix is don’t use a combo finisher when going for a heavy.

Just try to get a heavy in on after 5 hits…
That does not work on any champ that rely on a heavy attack.
Chavez, Wasp, Doom and iDoom are needing 4 hits into a heavy.
You did that on the doom gameplay in the forst Post, but on iDoom you clearly used a 5 Hit combo and try to use a heavy after that.
That is the reason why it does not work.

iDoom literally loses everything when the opponent is immune to shock or his armor is down. But doom still has control of 90% of his kit even when he has a slow on him or him being magnetised.

There should be some balance made to him which makes him not a noodle when the opponent has immunity

    1. Doom with a slow debuff on him is a potato. He loses a huge chunk of his utility if he's not able to activate his aura. Same thing goes for being magnetized. It has a 30% to trigger and that is suboptimal.

    2. iDoom already has that. Just bring Peni along

You guys are awesome. Lot of insightful feedback here. Takeaways:

    1) I was getting clapped by the AI, thanks @Zekir for pointing out that I should end the combo with a third light rather than a medium before triggering the heavy. This will take out a lot of erroneous gameplay on my part. You too @Pikolu

    2) There are times where I push the opponent to an SP3 and get caught out when I am at the SP1 or SP3. Haven’t mastered it yet but tips are welcome.

I think with time, once myself and a bunch of others have mastered iDoom, the general consensus will be much more fair towards iDoom.

When you go for the sp3 rotation, you have to bait out at least 1 sp2 from the enemy, then you can get your sp1 with energized before they can get to their sp3 again.

With short damage rotation you can manipulate the AI by doing your normal MLLL Heavy and immediately hold block and punish their heavy attacks. I've had about 98% success with this. It is very nice because your sp2 power drain does a lot more damage the more power the enemy has when you throw it.

Agree, just to elaborate on my earlier point. Mystic immunity on tech champs is something we’ve been seeing more with recent Tech champs like OS and Viv. With iDoom being released in between these two, it’s a head scratcher why he doesn’t have it when so much of his kit and utility rely on that Armor Up and with the established Doom being a mystic it’s just so odd he wasn’t given protection from mystic abilities. Still a great champ but a rather large weakness

So while he shouldn’t be armor break immune for the reasons outlined above, it’s so odd that he’s countered by mystics so effectively as well
Exactly. I've had him since the prerelease bundle and this is by far his biggest flaw/weakness.
You know… what’s hitting me today and is a bit on the funny side, is clearly Kabam at one point felt the same way because they gave the EQ iDoom boss protection from both armor break and nullify, it would have been nice to the nullify immunity carry over into his kit.

It’s all good though because Titania came out that month and they knocked it out of the park with her.
