AW season 42 is trash with nodes for immune champions

Have you noticed the latest AW season 42 have so many bleed, poison, shock, incinerate nodes.. it limits the number of champions that are viable (sort of favors robots) - which I am lacking in my 6* roster (I do have Dragonman, Sentinel and Guillotine 2099, but that's it).. so am wondering, who do you use for the bs nodes.. thanks for and feedback.

The hazard shift and all the DOT inflicting nodes have been a thing for a couple of seasons now. It's not just season 42. As for counters, I run Abs Man, iBom and Zemo since I usually take care of the majority of those nodes

I wouldn't call them BS nodes.
BS was the off season defense tactic.
War nodes are damn easy with the amount of option there are in the game these days.

I use Kingpin with Hood and even that's not enough to shrug off the debuffs.. don't have Abs-man or Baron Zemo.. so it is much harder for me.. another thing that sux is I keep pulling older champions.. Vision Aarkus, and Nova aren't going to do much either.. easy for summoners with Nimrod, Omega Red.. Abs-man

I would agree if I had any of the champions mentioned.. but kabam rng doesn't seem to let me get the needed champions.

Just don’t take path 9? Simple as that

I use KP and he works perfectly fine. Just did a 12-0 war with mainly him and hood.

My Kingpin is only rank3.. same as Hood (not even dupe).. although I got 7* Mantis, she doesn't have any immunity and the nodes are not great for her, making it hard to get her damage.. my 6* tech roster is not the best.

You could try high-sig angela if you have her. If getting few buffs at the start is hard you might want to bring odin in for the pre-fight buff.

Jabari panther will work as well, as she triggers cleanse every time she attacks.

Moleman can take up to 20 stacks of debuff (i.e until he triggers frenzy), but his damage comes when he has frenzy so I’m not sure if he works out well or not…

If cleanse/purify is not your style, you can go for Ability Accuracy Reduction (AAR). Falcon with lock on can take out almost any champs, unless they have their ability accuracy increased, or is immune to AAR.

Or use valkyrie/massacre, and just keep hitting into block. If I’m not mistaken, Hazard shift doesn’t trigger if you smack on block. Just pierce through that block and deal huge damage.

If you don’t have those said champions, i guess you can stick to immunity champs.
If you don’t have double immunity champs, take champs that have immunity on one of the debuff, and take advantage of ‘immunity-phase’. Hit into block when not.

Thanks.. a sig20 Angela is pretty much not going to do much and almost not worth it.. don't have 5* or 6* Valkryie, so that's not even an option.. like I said my account is sorely lacking most of the OP immune champions.. it is what it is.. so probably not gonna participate much in AW 42.

Oof… rng is very harsh sometimes…

I guess you could ask your alliance to switch paths?
I mean to clear through path 9 you really need a large champion pool, just because the combination of nodes and champions can be really difficult to counter

That’s what I was thinking! Just don’t take path 9! It’s not the only path in war
