If I had the total base hero rating of my opponent, I would have been invincible in the game.

    You’re already in diamond, and it seems like matchmaking in diamond changed to play any opponent. So just wait for easier opponents. Last season I played a guy in diamond with 7k less prestige with a few days remaining in the season.
