What happened to Monthly Events?

I was diving into Seatin's old videos that I used to watch, and saw a lot of SQs that were quite nice to play each month, I remember I started playing more seriously back then when we had the Infinity Stones SQ, It was very fun to play, quite interactive, same with another ones like the Deadpool Treasure one, even Event Quests were more funny, I think the actual ones need a revamp, they became very repetitive, just the same of always.

Maybe it is me but I think Monthly Events lost the fun side of it, they are the same every month, some annoying nodes on SQs, the same nodes on EQs with defenders that are not suitable with the Class Nodes, and repeat the same modus operandi every month, as I said, maybe it is me, but nowadays Content Creator dont stream those events anymore like they used to do before, so maybe they feel the same way.

They switch up the side quests constantly. Some months they're just more fun than others. It would be awesome if they could just make every side quest have the same level of enjoyment as the infinity stones one, but that doesn't seem very achievable imo

Yeah but we hadnt any cool one for a long time, the last one was the full RNG one, where we had portal that gave us Awakening Crystals or 6* Crystals if we were lucky, and before that I remember maybe the Jubilee one, wasnt the best but it was quite different and interactive

I liked the unique side quests they’ve had, though they have mostly always had the same formula for most of the other months. I liked the incursions concept they had a couple months ago, but they always default back to a couple different things:

- Do solo objectives for entries, use entires for rewards (either path based or store based)
- Do 3-5 paths of the same quest every week for rewards
The rewards are always great though so there’s that

As much as people hated the SQ this month, I think many will agree that doing 5-6 paths of 4 fights (depending if you were lazy or not with exploring) was way better than the herc SQ where we had to do 7 fights everyday for 5 weeks.

I dont think people really care that much about fights themselves if those aint boring
