Alliance war death but full attack bonus

Can someone please explain this to me?

He went with Herc on the Magneto boss, I saw Magneto with 5% hp, his Herc dead, he went in again, his Herc is dead, he got full attack bonus but our defense shows no kills?

Thanks. Now shows one kill and the correct attack bonus. The hamster must be struggling.
