With people trying to make the decision between rank 5 six stars and rank 2 seven stars this would be a great time for some information. I agree.

I don't think we'll get ascension until at least r3 7*s are a thing

This is exactly why I was asking, I can r5 my kingpin, or r2 my 7* Titania.

@Kabam Miike or Jax, is there any chance we can have a bit of word on this? I don’t know if it’s worth taking my kingpin to r5, or saving for 7*, as they can only get higher, where as 6* are capped at r5, so it would be handy to get a bit of info if any is going

Well Kabam have stated many times now, they will come with information when they have some. It could be a while there are stuff which are higher priority then ascension.

Like what? Just wondering if I’ve missed anything that has a higher priority.

I also know they said that, was just checking, as many are in the same boat, it’s hard To make decisions with no information of what is to come with the Ascension

On the livestream last week they stated that there are no current updates for ascension. Both Miike and Jax stated together that the game is not yet at a stage where ascension is needed because, though 7* R2 slightly edges out 6* R5, 6* are not at a current threat of becoming obsolete and the 7* pool is not big enough yet to compete with the champ availability that 6* has going for it. There’s simply nothing to update on yet because it is a future mechanic that is not needed yet. Maybe we start to hear more as fall/winter comes around depending on if Cyber Weekend is when they choose to start introducing R3 materials. I get the whole choosing between ranking a 6* and a 7*, but an important thing to remember is that as ascension becomes necessary those rank up materials will become more common. There were a ton of players still using max 5* when 6* R3 came around and ascension wasn’t a thing.

Literally, anything is a higher priority. The game has no need for ascension in its current state and by the time it makes sense for it to be introduced we'll probably be at 7 star rank 3 or 4 champs

It might be useless by then for most who have 7* champs..but we dont know because they've given us very little to work with.
