a/c hacked

My game a/c has been hacked and its going to be last post and last few moments.

I have given out all that i know, its been years since i played 4-5 years
and invested my time and money

just to discover today that kabam isnt happy with me and allowed my a/c to be abused in hands of someone else.
that person doing nothing except putting auction in Global chat for my a/c
its thronebreaker with 2.2 mill rating

I will be thankful if i get my account in hours,
and if i dont i wont let it be abused in hands of that person, i will leave no stone unturned to make sure it gets banned.

and despite changing password and syncing all and everything how can he access it.

I have made several changes to my kabam account and not aware about the leak at all, my email is in my full control.

I’d strongly suggest going into your forum profile and making your email address private. You’ve got it posted for all the world to see and not all of the world is good. That could be part of your problem here as you’ve given away 50% of what someone needs to access your account.

To be honest it's not kabam's fault. But as someone mentioned this thing happens frequently when you buy an account. Not that I'm saying you have.

I’d strongly suggest going into your forum profile and making your email address private. You’ve got it posted for all the world to see and not all of the world is good. That could be part of your problem here as you’ve given away 50% of what someone needs to access your account.

im more worried for the reason how to get it sorted, as I have the email, i can reset password and KABAM doesnt send password link it only sends code to reset password. then after changing password how one can sign in to my account, as I keep getting pop up someone else has logged n on some other device.

Why cant KABAM see which IP and Device are they using... since how long are they using, I gave all information from my purchase history and what not.. still kabam is merciless here....

Im in control of my a/c to prove and still insisting that i can do the purchase from same source from where i have made past purchases to get verified, some help has to be there... Kabam cant stand like having hands folded behind.

Moreover, there is now 2Step authentication everywhere so why didnt kabam implement it??
in 2Step Verification a separate code is being sent to cellphone number. along with one sent to email.

I'm sorry. But I have a feeling you bought this account from someone. So what happened is, they gave you the Email and password. But the OG owner has this account linked to his/her's game center. So no matter how many times you change your password it will not work. See when you open the game app it has two options use ID/password OR click anywhere to log in. And if someone has his/hers account linked to game center then clicking anywhere to log in will work without knowing the password.

My cousin had this same issue because he bought his account from someone online and a year later the seller logged back in and deleted all of his 1-4* champs ( back then you were allowed to sell) and used all the resources on bad champs. But I hope you get things sorted. You can ask kabam support to unlink the old game center to your game center but for that, you will have to prove you are the real owner of the account by answering a few questions. Like when and where the account was initially created and a few other questions only the OG owner would know.

If an old device of yours is now being used by someone else, that device may still have the account info stored in it which could be used to play the game WITHOUT having to actually login.
Or (less likely), someone has “cloned” your phone.

The first example is a case of how people can start playing the game brand new, without actually creating a Kabam ID.
You don’t really have to create a Kabam ID (or Google/Apple Play center) for logging in, until you know you will be switching to another device, or in general just for safety's sake and recovery.
Without a Kabam ID, game can still run as the first game account to have been used from that device (or device where the game account was first started from).

And so changing the Kabam ID password, they might still be able to run it on that other device without having to type in your new password on that device.

I think you can request Support to “unlink” other devices from your game account. That might fix your situation.

This and change your password as I'm assuming your using something like "password1" if it was that easy to "hack".

Thats what Im saying that all my payments are from my other a/c (as i setup payment in one a/c) and my other a/c i use to play games, and I have control over both the email. I have attached screenshots showing game center being linked and same email being in my control

So you’re confirming that you bought this account? And you’ve just been using whatever Google play/apple account you have to make the purchases? General life lesson, don’t buy accounts in any game from someone. You will never truly have control.

I'd say it's virtually impossible to hack an account. While the phrase is used this way in the community, there's no way to hack an account that I know of. They'd have to know the email you signed up with and the password you have in order to login.

The only way you can have what happened to you is if you shared your account information.

And how is it possible that multiple emails and game centers be allowed in one a/c.

I have same email attached in kabam and game center of Google play, and repeatedly changed passwords. But still someone has access...

The only way you can have what happened to you is if you shared your account information.

Someone would have to know an email is attached to a game account. That's why I said virtually impossible. I didn't say impossible.

There are a lot of things that would have to be guessed right in order for an account to be hacked.
