Am I missing something here? 8.3.2 Beta Bleed Path

Gambit’s Flak Jacket reduces the damage from Bleed effects by 150% while active. However, here it seems he is not, for this bleed passive on this node:

I could be missing something, but I don’t believe the nodes or sabre’s kit affects bleed potency enough for him to take that much damage from it, it’s supposed to be -150% potency.

I’m guessing it may be that it’s a new node, and so certain champion resistances have not updated yet to interact properly (as it is still a beta). Either that or Gambit’s bleed resistance is only for Bleed Debuffs, not all bleed effects, which I haven’t tested but could be the reason (although I personally think it’s the first reason).

It's likely due to how gambit was coded, they might not had accounted for passive bleed damage. Similar thing with Emma frost where in diamond form, Kate can still coldsnap her because it is a passive.

Hard to say because you're already bleeding at the beginning - did you eat a special?

Sabertooth has a 60% chance to place a bleed on his specials. The node gives him another 150% which my Kabam math is 210% and you're only reducing by 150%.

Also, not sure, but the weapon node bleed is passive and may have something else to do with it if the jacket doesn't prevent passive bleeds. If that is the case, it may be registering as AAR and kicking in the bleeds at 3x. I think this is probably the case. If not the passive bleed itself, are you running any points in pacify?

Chance to place bleeds is different from the potency of it.

I’m talking about potency - not chance.

The issue is not that gambit has a bleed, it’s that he’s taking damage from it.

Roger that. I guess the mention of it being passive or that it could be registered as a type of AAR has no bearing either. Oh well.

Or the mention of pacify possibly interacting weirdly... Which is AAR and could possibly be wonky like we see on other nodes.You didn't say if you were running it or not. If that is triggering 3x bleeds that could be 150% x3.
