Is nick fury's second phase affected by ability accuracy reduction or anything else?

I actually forgot when it had happened but I was fighting a champion who can reduce our defensive ability accuracy (don't remember who sorry) and when I got to like 15% health it already said "L.M.D destroyed". I won that fight without losing my life so idk what would've happened but it got me confused since I thought there's no counter for his second phase.

Without the champ in question is tight to say definitely. But no. It cannot be prevented. But it's can be in effect.

Peni is a hard counter for his 2nd life.

Fairly confident, though not 100%, that Peni and Toad are the only champs that can impact his second life directly and consistently. AA can do it if you get insanely lucky, but the others are a guarantee.

Good to know. I rarely look at a new champs kit unless they’re annoying to beat in EQ lol. If I’m not going to have them for awhile I just don’t bother taking the time until it’s worth the investment.

No, there is no ability accuracy reduction to prevent Nick Fury's second life, champions can only affect the healing aspect of it (NF still goes into his second life). However, there was a bug that completely prevented the 2nd life.

Previously if your game crashed while facing NF, when you reload the game and the fight was saved, it starts the match with Nick in his real NF mode (his health deceases down to 30%). That was supposedly patched out in one of the monthly patches that Kabam has rolled out. I haven't encountered this scenario since the update happened (whenever that was), so I can't say if it is in fact changed or not.

I've had his second life be prevented by modok in war before, it was a rude awakening lol

Heal prevention nodes can stop him at 1% too. That 15% would be somthing else.
Getting hit with a Omega sentinel second medium at the exact time.
He can be heal blocked by some node interaction.

I’ve done it with aa a few days ago but I’m not sure how it happened, he only regenerated to 25%.

I’ve stopped Nicks 2nd life bar from going to 100% with both archangel and cosmic ghost rider. Were those bugs? Maybe , but I don’t rely on either to stop furys 2nd life from returning to full health

No. His healing is a healing after all. Neurotoxins and despair fr armour breaks can both stop it

1. LMD destroyed
2. Shrug all effects (debuffs, passives, buffs, tactical charges)
3. heal an undetermined amount that is definitely more than 1 life worth (as hitting him during the healing phase will also get healed up)

So basically if you can cause a heal block in between step 2 and 3 you are golden.
Awakened peni does it by inflicting a passive healblock when NF tries to heal more than 5%
Awakened AA can do it by killing the LMD in the middle of a special that then inflicts a Neuro before he heals
CGR can do it with the despair mastery by killing the LMD with the damnation/power lock on NF. NF will shrug the damnation which will inflict 5 armor breaks which will reduce healing. (could also maybe time the damnation for just after the LMD got destroyed but that would be tricky)
Red mags can do it with the synergy that gives him a heal block on knock down. i am not sure on the timing for that, but have seen it in war vids.

I just tried Dani’s ability multiple times and it doesn’t seem to work on Fury. It worked fine against Hercules, Hela, iHulk, and Phoenix.

Dani's Marked ability doesn't work on Fury, but her Neuroshocks do. When Skill champions are under the effect of Neuroshocks, they can't heal. And when Neuroshock debuffs are removed (like with Nick's LMD) they're reapplied as passives.

NOOOOO. Man I guess my question wasn't clear. I was the one using NF and when he got to 15% (FIRST PHASE) it already said "L.M.D DESTROYED" which shudnt have happened since it cannot be prevented. Maybe it's a bug ig

Any champ that places Poison can prevent N. Fury from healing on his 2nd life and he’ll die like he never had one.
Also, I believe Warlock’s infection will prevent the healing as well, but don’t quote me on that. I’d have to do a fight to make sure….

I sometimes do it with mysterio or os when I don't get luck to pick peni, just have to time it perfectly and apply the heal block when he starts gaining back health after lmd destroyed.

Not true. Nick will shrug the poisons. Unless you can apply a sufficient amount of poisons after he enters his second life. As for warlock, you can do it but it is very hard to time
