Gambit Relic whiffs first hit after combo

Had this bug happen a few times during the SQ when using the Gambit relic at the end of a combo. I've been trying it in practice mode and it happens every single time with AA unless the opponent's against the wall. I haven't tried it with other champs or light ending combos.

OK so I'm not going crazy. I was thinking that I had it the button too early or too late since I had a few issues with the Gambit relic. Good to know it's not only me.

Black Widow relic is whiffing a lot as well, sometimes on the first hit, other times in the second hit.

I used my Wolverine in my archangel as a Heaven extender when It whiffed to find utility on him

Not only this is happening but also sometimes the enemy is dodging the hit, although is quite hard to record cause it doesn't happen with a pattern or all the time

Edit: what's happening in my case is different from the op's video, in my case and a few other players that confirmed as well, the enemy is doing a quick dodge the moment you use the relic
