Mutant Awakening Gem

Any help is appreciated.
Regardless of my roster, progression, or any other details:
If you had a mutant awaking gem for either: Storm, Storm 2, Iceman, Emma or Captain Britain what’s your play?
Please don’t say wait for Archangel etc. I have and it ain’t working. I’m a pretty casual player who likes to use stuff when I get it, and I’ve been sitting on this thing for a while now.
I’m just looking for advice about max benefit for this gem that’s lingering
PS. It’s not even necessary to say why, there’s a good chance that my walnut sized brain won’t understand.

More shock = big damage.

Iceman. Especially if you can give him sigs.
Not storm x. It’s useful but not worth a gem.
Same with Emma, useful for defense but not worth a gem.
Unsure about cap Britain so I’d say no.
Storm I believe is worth a gem but I do not have a lot of knowledge about her.

I’m another vote for iceman. He is unique and useful in so many situations. The only Nova flame resistent champ. His awakening puts immediate disadvantage on anyone he faces.
AW path 9 MVP, AQ HT mini boss killer, BG attack/defend asset.

Storm hands down, at r3 she carried a fair bit in AOL. Big numbers everywhere and synergies can help,

Staying within the context of the question, having gotten 7star StormX, I'm really enjoying her (for the first time). Especially with a storm relic.

If I had no other choice and I had to choose for whatever reason, Iceman. I wouldn't give a gem to any of them otherwise though.
