Kabam? Legit, change the BG system.

After the July deal stunt you guys pulled, Battleground is now hell, literally. The enemy roaster went from three-four R5 and 7r2 to triple the count. Like i get it that you guys got the bills and have to pay the only single guy who fix the bugs when he feels like it (oh no no) but f2p and casual spender just can't compete now in BG upper brackets, soon this will transition into wars as well but at least war is team effort.

The BG is now turned into who rained cash onto the offers and got 6* Jessica and who got the more 7* champs, no matter the skill, 7r2 Elsa nuked my r4 thing in like 20 seconds, are you kidding me?

Here's hoping next BG season have changes, espically that matchmaking system which got tweaked like 5 seasons ago and never put any thought about it. (btw loving the new solo BG rewards, keep them)

In case you missed my sarcasm, why in the world should people who are literally spending several hundred dollars on the game not gain a competitive advantage on this game mode? I mean, if they didn't gain an advantage, why would they spend?

Unfortunately that’s the way money works. That’s like telling the NBA to change the rules because teams spend too much to get a super team together and the teams who don’t spend have a disadvantage and can’t have a winning season.

Absolutely disagree with that as again, it would discourage spending drastically as many (those who spend to gain a competitive advantage) would no longer gain that competitive advantage.

In fact, they would likely get far worse matchups and gain a competitive disadvantage, thereby discouraging spending. That would also open a massive can of worms on what is considered spending limit to get grouped into "spenders" as someone who spent $5 or even $100 wouldn't get decent matchups against those who have spent thousands.

They already have their advantages and would still continue to be having them, absolutely nothing would change there. And spending shouldn't be encouraged anyway so this is just a further quality of life if anything.

I agree. Separating into FTP and spender makes no sense. Going along the line of separation, the only way it could possibly work is tiers by account size. Along with that separation, rewards would have to be tiered. Tier 1(whales) would still compete for the top rewards, tier 2 bump down in their rewards and so on. Being a guppy, my roster will get smashed by the whales. There are those outliers where some whales don't have skill and it feels great smashing them. 😉

How about 1st mode should remain the same as it is
And 2nd bg : kabam will set the same health for attackers (example 20k) for both players and also same health for defenders ( example both 60k ), same attack rating. This will be pure skill based battleground.
But this is will be much difficult task for kabam.

There needs to be some sort of middle ground, I shouldn't be facing potato accounts with no r5s but I also shouldn't be facing double digit r5s with nearly every available 7*, in gold 1.

That wouldn't work out, and I don't believe that would be "pure skill" based BG.

In order to be like that, then everyone should be having every champion at the same rarity, and probably same masteries as well. That won't happen for the current BG, but probably for official tournaments that would be more fair.

Agreed. For tournaments I think people should be able to make a deck of all 6* r5s and have any mastery set they want. That would be the most fair you could have while still utilizing strategy. Another cool idea would be similar to clash Royale where you draft random champions of all the same rarity.
