Addressing Mythic Crystal Issue (1250 Crystals instead of Shards)

So we all know you’re not going to go into the people who got the exploits accounts and remove the champs, you never do. All those seven star shards, all the iso, the only right thing to do is to give everyone either 1250 mythics or 250 six star crystals, or at least a two or three seven stars bc this is kinda more then just a little game changing over site, this will mess with AW, most important Bgs, and just overall is wayyyy too big of an advantage with 1250 mythic crystals being given to only some.
You think giving everyone in the game the same thing will help the game?

This screenshot has been shared around before:

1250 crystals - approx 250 6* champions (20% drop rate)
Then you've also got enough 6* shards for another 200 from duping 1000 5* champions (every champion in the game, three times over)

So you've got 450 6* pulls in the bank - enough to own and Awaken pretty much every 6* champion in the game, too.

You've got 41,250 7* shards already; and at the same hit rate, can expect another 33,000 when you open your 200 6* crystals for a grand total of 74,250 7* shards.

So what you're suggesting is that Kabam gives everyone in the game:
Five sparkly new 7* champions
450 6* champs
1000 5* champions
Almost incalculable Iso.
If you think that's going to even things out without irrevocably breaking the balance of the game, then you're just not thinking about the problem.
This is why genuinely believe Kabam will roll back everyone who’s benefited from the bug, as those numbers are just to much to just leave as an ‘oh well’ moment.

I don't know if they are able to do that but I hope

The only option I can think is removing all shards from all accounts and then giving everyone the amount of shards they had the day before update with a 6* shards compensation for all

EXACTLY. It doesnt affect absolutely anybody. People are either jealous which i kinda am because of the free 7 star champs they received and the iso but lets be honest, the iso was needed and i hope all of us could receive that much or just take the iso out from the accounts.
It affects many people who are going to lose to accounts that just got 102k ISO bricks and hundreds of 6* champions in BGs. It also completely destroys the economy of the game since those players no longer have anything real to work or pay for.
thats why im saying take all the iso breaks and 7 stars shards or giving everyone a whole lotta of iso cause the economy currently someone cant even normally get iso. I can guarantee too that its not 102k. Most of my mates had like 20-30k but def not 102k

Either give everyone 1250 mythic crystals or revert all accounts to the state they were in 24 hrs before the event and then give everyone some appropriate compensation

Cause from what I saw those people will get atleast 250 6*s from the mythic crystals + extra shards from the 5*s....

I think scale of the bug is a key factor here; I saw the 1250 crystals and didn't claim any because I knew it was obviously wrong.

If we were talking maybe 1250 shards accidentally changed into 1 crystal, I'd have snapped that puppy up right away, because that's such a minor change whilst still seeming too good to be true for us.

Bugs happen, and we do have a duty as players to have a bit of common sense. At the very least, have a laugh at the bug, but don't complain when stuff gets removed that very clearly wasn't intended to be given.

Not just like any ordinary compensation thread, but if you consider it, it could be a win win for not only those players that were honest, but Kabam as well, as those that did abuse the bug would most likely learn their lesson seeing their peers being rewarded. The net result is that in the future when another bug of this magnitude happens again, Kabam would have less work to do as less accounts would be exploiting with the reward of not taking advantage of the bug being out there. Just some food for thought...

i have Been working for a tripple A game company scince 2018 let me clear you something there is no harsh feelings for kabam because i love the game a lot but on the other hand with each update a quality quality assurance team look after each part of game and make sure there is no major bug occours in the game. Let me clear something this is not a bug this is something which will break the economy of game , But on the other side the user can also file a case against the company because there are two types of players one who spend and one who enjoy free to play.

Quality assurance game team responsibity

Testing and Bug Reporting: Your primary duty is to test various aspects of the game, including gameplay mechanics, graphics, audio, controls, and user interface. You'll need to identify bugs, glitches, and other issues and report them accurately to the development team using bug tracking software or other designated tools. Clear and detailed bug reports are crucial for developers to understand and fix the problems.
Short summery : Tester should atleast play the whole quest at least 1 time to make sure everything is fine

Economy Disruption: If the bug provides players with excessive in-game currency, items, or resources, it can disrupt the game's economy. This imbalance can devalue the rewards, undermine the effort required to earn them, and potentially affect the in-game marketplace or trading systems.

Rewarding players for not exploiting this big? Why stop there? Let get rewards to players who don't account share, and rewards to those who don't mod and while we are at it, why not rewards people who are NOT begging for free things for no valid reason.

But seriously, this is just a differently worded request for compensation for something that deserves no compensation.

Has Kabam’s QA gone off a cliff? Absolutely. Maybe slowing down on complex side events and hiring some players for testing them would be helpful.

But looking at 1000 crystals and then looking at lower TB and Paragon rewards didn’t set off warning bells? Anyone at Cav knew that there was no way this was legit then chose to open them anyway. They knew exactly what they were doing because it takes a lot of playing to get to Cav.

The fact that so many people don’t have basic morals and sense is amazing to me.

I do think it would be fun to see what would happen to the game if they did just give everyone 1,250 mythic crystals. I think they should do it, let us all have fun for a week, then roll back the whole game to before this update so they can fix the mess, fix the side quest in general, and give a proper explanation of the war persistent placement thing before it goes live again.

Anyways, I only found out about the Mythic crystal exploit bug when I watch YouTube video by 'RichTheMan' about the kabam snafu.. but by that time kabam already remove the Mythic Crystal from the game..

if it's obvious that it is too good a reward.. people shouldn't have open it.. maybe out of curiosity id open 5 to 10 the most, but if i do get the top wanted champions.. i know they will be removed.. that would really suck.. so I'd rather pull them one at a time when I am able to collect enough 6* shards, hope rng let's be pull the champions I want and need.

If I was Kabam I would give you the 7 day vacations package, to prevent others from exploiting that much, other bugs in the future.
Do you even can imagine how much additional work is for them to revert accounts and take back the rewards?

The comparison doesn't track for me - unless you're claiming that cheaters/modders are physically ruining your own in-game account? How is that possible? If that's the case definitely submit a ticket.

Now, what *does* align is cheaters/modders steal from your bank everyday, and the bank deals with them accordingly. Sorta like how Kabam is dealing with the people who exploited the bug. 🤷

I’m 99% sure this is a troll post but in the off chance it’s legitimate, please update us if/when your account gets a 7-day ban and when they take the champs back and what else they take back (gold, iso, etc).

They’ve said they will be taking it back. It seems like they said they can do it without banning accounts but that wasn’t as clear.

My point was simple, detrimental problems that affect the player base should be handled just as swiftly and decisively as problems like this. When things like this occur, they are all over it, but when it is something else plaguing the game, more often than not the issue does not receive the attention it deserves.

This is so ridiculous to put out there bro.

That was a bug/glitch/mistake/error/whatever it is and we all surely know that but exploitation of such is not cool no matter how nice you try to sound.

For example, Lets say there was a loot in your area in a big hypermarket (due to humans being humans) and police arrested/are trying to arrest all the looters (because it is their lawful duty), will you ask the store owner/police department to compensate you because you did not partake in the inhuman act.

Surely if you own KABAM or get to work innit, you wouldn't be saying this.
