The EQ last month ends before the timer reached zero

Yesterday before the new EQ and SQ came out I checked the timer left for the former one and it said 1 day left and now it's gone, I'm still able to explore the last path in my cav eq and got the exploration reward, but after I finished it ( very laggy btw ) it's gone and now I lost the unco exprolation rewards.
I'm paragon btw, and my account is quite enough for those rewards but I already spent time and energy for it so it's a little bit annoying, but I hope kabam will fix this for lower level players at least

    Timer shown if you are currently in a quest allows you to finish THAT CURRENT QUEST by up to 1 extra day (24 hrs) after the normal monthly reset.

    Timer shown when NOT in a quest shows the ending monthly reset (time you have to start a new quest by).

    Has always been like that, every month.
