You realize that at platinum or higher there is no protection, everyone face people in same tier (such as Plat vs Plat) Right? Like all competition PVP mode should be.

They protect lower account from facing higher account til gold. While I face people with 18000-20000 prestige with legend title since BronzeIII, similar to my roster strength. (Not like I cant get out of it because I passed Gold long ago but fighting them is a bit stress to be honest)

At platinum, you still face stronger and weaker at random but depend on your roster strength, if your account is quite strong, higher % you will face weaker or stronger in Plat to Vibranium. The more you advance, the more you will face stronger account.

If you want to fight the best at the game, try climbing high at Gladiator Circuit.

I saw nothing to look at. If anything, there should be no protection since Bronze.

i don't understand how in a competitive ranked mode people expect to only play against similar accounts.

small accounts should be thankful that kabam allow bronze to gold with matchmaking pools which allows you to climb to a certain point and to get a certain amount of rewards.

it is a competitive mode after all the best and strongest.
if you want to compete you need to have the best roster.
if you can't win you can't climb.
gotta have free for all matchmaking else you can't get a fair competiton.
