Sentry Nerf

Sentry indestructible isn't working as intended and only procking once when losing his combo, don't know if this is a silent fix that took kabam 5 YEARS to finally fix or a silent nerf, kabam players like sweadeh have invested hundreds of sigs stones and gems into him because of his only good use, now he's practically useless lmao I would really like some sort of explanation please

i think swedeah enjoys him for more than that + he’s one of very very few that actually invested into sentry

edit: even swedeah said he was extremely bugged and it’s good that kabam fixed this even though they should’ve communicated it

Lol I'm pretty sure that is not a nerf. From what I saw in Swedeah's video he stated that Sentry was extremely bugged and that he could basically be indestructible the entire fight, which by no means should any champ in the game have, that would be EXTREMELY broken and OP. Also Swedeah knew what he was doing, he did it specifically for content cause he knew how broken it was.

It is working as intended as it's original intent was to only prock once. No doubt it did take longer than it should have, but this is a necessary fix.

Yup, if kabam took away his 1 and I mean his 1 piece of utility in his kit then he needs an overhaul or at the very least just throw In some immunities and make his ramp up so much less Unbearable to get too

Im convinced people have set up bots to do this exact thing. Either notify them when a specific user posts something on the forums or when a specific user posts something immediately hit disagree

This was a "pro-player" bug in the most technically and "I guess so?" way possible. It took max sig and could be shut down with any debuff. They shouldn't have even considered messing with him if it wasn't to give him a rework.

When they do things like this, I wish Kabam had a solid bud that would pull them aside and say, "Bruh. You've got to stop doing things like that. That's why no one invites you to stuff."

As a player who kept using Sentry even before 6 star was introduced, I’m certain that him procking indestructible once is by default and not a bug. There is no reason to extend the duration of indestructible it procs every time. He was bugged until now.

And heck, he is still bugged. When he loses his combo he is supposed to go back to unyielding fortitude, but he doesn’t. He is still bugged and needs fixing. Few tweaks in stats, and how his state of mind rotates would be nice… but don’t know if that’s ever going to happen

He sticks out like a sore thumb in the Science class now that class archetypes have been codified. He doesn't really have debuffs (just one armor break) like Science champions do. With his combo meter based abilities he seems more like a Skill champion.

Funnily enough, Adam Warlock's whole shtick seems like it would have worked nicely in a Sentry buff. If Sentry was buffed into AW's kit, it would maintain the whole combo meter + indestructible core.
