Linking My Account

If I have an account that is not linked, and I got to link it. I hit login options, sign in with Kabam, then I enter a new email and password that has never been used to link an account. Will I keep my account. Or will it make a new account and I will only have a 1 star. I want to know because I want to start another account but cant cuz I'm not informed on this topic and cant log back in to my main account with 4 and 5 stars. PLLZZZZ HELP!!!!
