AW cannot leave group. Champs locked. Can’t AQ

So myself. And several of my alliance are in AW and have 5 defenders locked in. We cannot seem to get out of this. And now, I cannot use any of the 5 defenders in AQ.
How do we get our defenders out of AW

I've had my defenders locked by this for two days now, even though we haven't placed in weeks. What gives, Kabam?
