BG’s Shop - R4 Mats vs Sigs

So after the shop update, the R4 mats are the clear cut best value for the currency. But with that said, 6* sig stones are nowhere near as abundantly available as any other 6* resource (even awakening gems), which is just silly to me.

So with that said, are you prioritizing use of tokens on just the R4 mats or grabbing the sigs as well?

Those placing high in the GC are probably getting both, and players that have only a few r4’s /mainly r3s are probably going for the r4 mats, but curious what those in between are.

Personally, I’m skipping sigs and going all out on r4 mats in hopes that sigs become more easily available after the alliance shop buff.

R4 and 5 mats by far best value compared to anything else in game economy, there are a lot of sources for 6* shards and even some decent sig stones around contest in like side events and etc, there are no other source of r4 and 5 mats in game that come even remotely close

6* sigs need to go down in value . They are too expensive . Should be half of what it is right now .

When would you recommend making the transition from buying r4 mats to r5? Once you have a full card of 30 champs? (Including 7*’s)? Or even sooner?

I reccomend getting r4 mats throughout and then r5 with whats left over, because r4 mats are also needed for r5 and 7* r2 and even for top end players real bottleneck is t6b and t3a not t6cc atm, like my account could do about 3-4 new r5s or 7* r2 but im completelt dry on t6b and t3a

Sorry, should’ve phrased it differently. Meant at what point would it be good to start buying the r5 mats on top of buying r4. Would it be good to start getting both if possible?

I just maxed out on t6b and t3a for the week and still have 93k left. 25% t6cc every week for 7,550 doesn’t seem that bad.

For reference, I have about 15 usable champs in my card that are r4 (3 of which I’m counting as 7 stars) and can rank up an additional 4 more

Before the update sig stones were by far the best value. Currently I think the t6 and t3 are the best value however except for the highest spenders, the t6cc is the most needed, and especially the crystals are a good value. However I think that by the time the bg store is updated again in 9-12 months sig stones will once again become the best value.

I used the all blue selector's and got lucky a few times on rift path c and managed to amass over 90 Sig stones.

My guess is paragon go for r4 and others go for shards and sig stones

I've been using all my selectors in the SQ to grab that 12 sigs path. It turns into a very nice stash of sigs and if you're lucky, you can grab more sigs by chance.

Started getting the selectors and i may just prioritize them over r4 mats, as I have 0 r5s so the bottleneck of them for r2/r5’s doesnt apply to me.

Also we’re getting r4 mats pretty abundantly for me not to stress about having a total of like 40 r4s

Depends on what I need. I’ve been going sig stones recently because I wasn’t in as much of a rush to get new r4 because I have 0 iso 24/7 (fix this Kabam it’s ridiculous) and I wanted to take king groot, guardian, namor, and attuma to sig 200 (my first 4 max sig champions)

In your situation then yeah, id pick a champ and prioritize selectors first to get my first one, but later on id prioritise the crystals as they are cheaper.

My only real time doing BGs was this last season for all the extra rewards. I bought out all the shards, stones, and R4 materials that I could, then bought out the shards and stones again the other day when it reset. Sitting on 18.5k left and probably waiting til next week to buy out all the stones again.

I currently have 3 t6b and t3a right now, but over the past couple weeks, I took Domino to r4 max sig for BGs and general questing, then I finally got a Valkyrie and took her to r4 max sig, and I just took Quicksilver up to r4 and used a science gem on him. I'm trying to amass enough stones again (currently have 117 generics) to sig him high enough, or max out Spot if I choose to r4 him soon, or just save them for Adam Warlock in a couple weeks if I get him.

After that, I'll probably focus more on t6b/t3a fragments, and t6cc crystals/selectors with my BG tokens as I've already got x6 r5s and a nice r2 awakened Chavez and will need to focus on 7*s more.

I only get r4 mats and 6* shards. Maybe when I get more r4 s I will stop but it is clearly the best for value
