What’s going on with war, or am I stupid.

I acknowledge I am already stupid.

But what’s the deal with war?

Why are we placing on 3 maps?

How is attack phase starting so quickly.

Again, I am stupid.

Someone explain how we do war at the moment?

Not stupid, the system is not intuitive and hasn’t been rolled out well.

My understanding is alliances are able to set up defenders for the map for their current tier and also set up defenders for 1 tier up and one tier down in case they move up or down during the season.

Once defenders are placed they stay there all season so there is no more placement phase. Once attack starts you can change defenders for the next war if you want but those changes don’t impact the current war/attack. If you do nothing your defenders will stay the same all season.

There are major problems with masteries for high tier alliances and major confusion for how this will work for smaller alliances that just run 1-2 B battlegroups that aren’t always the same people every war.
