I have 2 duped 7 stars from 5 crystals and one of them is Joe, he's actually been great in bg defense nobody can get through him it seems

When i mean he could do more means that after he does his special he can get a random 4 cards of the same type and each different cards he has boosts his abilitys further when awakened

Joe is quite decent, even when unawakened. And because the 7* pool is currently so limited, it probably won't be long before you pull him again

I should note that I run suicides so that benefits him. When I have max of those cards that raise your attack, I’m hitting 15k light crits and 20k medium crits. Also, for defense, nobody can seem to kill him. Block penetration is awesome!
