Generic awakening gem does not work on Spot

I got two generic awakening gems from the Grandmaster's Gauntlet but they don't show up when I want to rank Spot.

Even more disturbing, when I try to sort my champs by rarity and class, Spot doesn't show up.

I've tried restarting the game and restarting my phone. Neither work.
