Gold Masteries Not Working

Before I claimed my gold rewards from incursions, I swapped my masteries out to the gold ones to obtain extra gold. I decided to open some gold crystals and there was no +3 gold at the end. As well as no wonky gold number due to an increase in percentage.

It's never occurred to me to try the gold masteries so I can't say you're wrong lol

I imagine the gold reward would maybe be seen only in champion dupes and/or questing.

However, due to the wording, I'll bring it up with the game team.

The gold mastery has to be THE WORST mastery available..

Pretty sure they said a long time ago (maybe on the old forums) that the mastery only affects the gold you get from questing when you move to a node, not sure about from fight wins. I think it was designed mainly for lower level accounts when the cost of advancing champs was much lower due to the lower rarity we were using when it was released. I don't think there is any real value/use in it today.

Definitely need an huge amp up to gain the golds through the gold mastery. 1k per tile should do the trick.

I used to swap the masteries all the time before when I would open Arena/Gold crystals and when I would fight in quests that output heavy gold rewards. I stopped doing it like 4 months ago because I didn't feel like swapping them for gold rewards a lot. But if it is for just questing purposes, they should change the wording.

When did they announce this. I started playing this game in 2022, and did it for a long time and would get extra gold with questing rewards.
Ex: Let's say I would run the Cavalier EQ and pick up the 40k gold reward on the path, I would receive 40,803 gold instead. And with Uncollected Golden Crystals, instead of 19.5k (base drop) I would get 19,893 gold.
May not seem like a lot but when you open 100+ crystals, 2% extra gold adds up.
