R4 Thing or Manthing

Can only r4 one, Thing is Sig 200

Only reason id r4 man thing first is the Crit Me With Your Best Shot node in BGs (cause of his crit damage resistance)

But on the other hand I heard thing crushes in the zone 25 incursions run (i plan to use him with herc for those potential matches that punish buffs) so I was thinking of doing him first.

Also, outside of the crit meta, doesnt man thing have a ton of counters? Even like Galan, KP and a ton of science champs. I recently r4ed mephisto but idk how valuable of a defender man thing would be with the so many counters he has (outside of the crit node)

Thing is always more useful especially when he already is sig 200. A bit late for me as my Thing is unduped rank 1 and can’t max sig him and rank 4 him in just three weeks… or can I? No, just rank 4 Galan today…

I have Manthing at r4 sig 60 ish I think and that dude gets me wins 90% of the time in BGs, yes there is a fair few counters but he's a tanky mf but given that thing is sig 200 and will also serve as an attacker here and there, as well as your want to push zone 25 ... I'd pick Thing

@Mackey Do you ban his counters? Or theres plenty of matches where they dont draw one of his many counters

If you just want a goated defender, go Man Thing. Thing is overall the better option considering you can make good use of him on attack

No not really, Torch is an instant ban but not because of Manthing, just because he's a general nuke lol. Aside from him I tend to ban cheese type attackers CGR/AA sort of champs.
