Nova boss EQ 2.2 need advice

I struggled in first attempt. Any advice on champs or strategy?

Champs with DOT specials (Kate Bishop..) or big damage specials (Sunspot..)
I soloed Nova with both. He was very eager to throw his specials when I fought him.

7* Sunspot or any champs with big sp2
- Get Nova close to 2 bars
- Bait sp1
- Get him above sp1 and bait
- Use Sunspot sp2 and done.

Thanks. I ended up using Abs man bait sp 1 counter with sp1. I had incorrectly understood the nodes. Thanks for the advice.
