You should be grateful you even got to Diamond 2 as a cav considering matchmaking matches you against everyone once you get to plat.

Why are all these legends and paragons and such so prevalent in silver and gold tiers? Figured they’d all by Gladiator track by now. Hmmmm.

I 100% believe that all accounts eligible to play BGs should be in one pool from the very beginning.
Because we are all competing for the same things. If the lower accounts want access to the same level of rewards (which they have), then they should have to compete against anyone else for those rewardsIf they don't want to face those bigger accounts, then they should expect a lower tier of rewardsIt's not fun fighting baby accounts up in P2, it's also not fun getting stomped on by whale accountsbut they get the same rewards for moving through the ranks and are in the same pool for the season rewards as paragons, why wouldn't they have to face the full competition?

They dont actually get the same rewards btw. Stuff is more expensive for lower progression titles
It's really not going to matter with 10 Tiers of 1 per Win. All its going to do is move the freezing up to Plat and up.
Because we are all competing for the same things. It's just not that simple. Smaller rosters also have to invest more in terms of Victory Shields in order to reach the GC. They also have to put in a lot more work at plat and beyond. We are all competing for the same rewards, but I think you're underestimating the investment and effort it takes to get a Cav account to Diamond. Then you have to take into account just how goated the BGs store is. It's the fast track to progress. Giving large accounts the obvious advantage over UC-TB accounts will do nothing but widen the gap. Paragon players would stomp small accounts and use those rewards to beef up their rosters even more. UC players would get stomped, invest everything into Victory Shields and ultimately get nothing for their efforts. The way the current system works, all players face relatively similar accounts from Bronze to Plat. Meaning, all players do put in around the same amount of work for the majority of the VT. It's 10's fighting 10's and 4's fighting 4's. If 10's started matching 1's, the 10's would become 11's with little to no effort and the 1's would stay at 1 for so much more effort. If they get lucky enough, maybe they could some day get to 2, but unlikely.
