Is he a good defender unduped?

Im starting to have too many champs to be able to fit only 30 into a deck.

I also have spider gwen and unduped KM in my deck. Out of those and unduped IMIW are any not that good for defense and able to be swapped out?

Yes people do use him on defense unduped because 7 star health pools although i cant say it works out very well for them

IMIW has aged quite well IMO. Unless you actively use Hercules on offense, he can be really annoying to beat.

Yeah, he's a frustrating defender as a 7* unless you get herc or torch. Hulkling is ok against him, but even he struggles. when imiw came out and was a killer on AW defence, the best cosmics in war attack were corvus and medusa as you really need either true damage to bypass his passive armour, or armour break.

And armour break seems to have gone out of fashion on the new cosmic releases.

Each passive armour stack is nearly 3k in armour (!!) at R1 7*, so your damage tails off fast unless you have armour break, true damage or serious dot damage.

(Storm x, gorr and killmonger are all tricky defenders and storm x and gorr can clear house on attack too)

I can’t speak for Storm X and Gorr, but I myself always struggle a little bit agains Killmonger.
Spider-Gwen can be a little annoying too if the opponent has no way to deal with evades

Spider Gwen's evades are NOTHING compared to Classic Spidey. I still hate him to this very day.

I agree, SMC was obnoxious when it came to evades lol
Thankfully I have a good Gwen of my own now
So as long as the champion is not Slow immune, I’m fine

There are more good counters for him now, but he still gets kills.

I’ll probably take out Spider gwen. I’ll keep KM , Gorr, and Storm. Probably test out IMIW to see how good at stalling he is
