Just reached plat 2 on bg but i have a major problem with match making tell me is this fair kabam

Well, I think it depends entirely on how quickly you and other people climb up the ladder. If you play three matches every two days and climb up slowly you will probably climb up higher and make it to Diamond by the end of the season because most whales and even weaker Paragons like me will probably already be in Vibranium or GC since we won't have to start from Bronze, we get a headstart. However, if you go and play ten matches every single day and climb up to Plat on week one then I highly doubt your matches will be any different because a lot of big accounts who usually climb up the ladder slowly will still be there.

Were they in the same tier as you? Then it was fair. To get to Platinum 1, you have to beat the players in Platinum 2. Not just the players you think would be fair for you to fight.

Look at it this way. See all those giant rosters you're matching against? Those players are all in P2 now (or were when you were matching). You think you're supposed to get "fair" matches so you can win and get to P1.

Ahead of them. If you had won and gotten into P1, you'd get there before obviously a ton of other much stronger players. You want to push past them, get through them, and overtake them, by hand picking your competition so you only fight people you can beat. Is *that* fair?

Understand this alot because i played 5 days and reached plat 2 as i got bgs ulocked

Just be happy that Kabam gave you training wheels all the way up to Plat 2.

So you’re new to BG? Congrats on making it to plat 2. The matchmaking changes here, so this is honestly as high as you’ll most likely get.

They made the changes for plat matching because prior to them, too many low accounts were making it to GC, and many high level accounts (prestige 17,000 and up) were stuck because they had to keep playing other high level accounts. Just keep playing and progressing.
