How strong should Morbius be???

Since a LOT of players will be getting morbius in a little over a month, how strong do you Think kabam will make him?
Obviously I love the guy and have been advocating for him to be in the game for ages, so it would suck for him to be meme tier. That being said I don’t necessarily want him to be herc level seeing as he’s being given out for $30.
My real huge hope is that they make him not too reliant on his awakened ability. It would be brutal to have him be amazing but have all his utility or damage come from his awakening/sigs.
Just some thoughts I had today as I’m excited (but wary) over his upcoming release.

If he’s not decently useful with something that sets him apart from other champs, they will never hear the end of the complaints. I would think they know that.

I just hope he’s unique and enjoyable to play and useful enough that I can actually play with him in meaningful content.

Seeing as he's being given out for a $30 offer, I think he should be quite strong, maybe around Zemo levels of strength?

I’ve thought about this and they are in a tough spot. If he isn’t good to start with people will be mad because they spent money and logged in every day for a dud. If he’s good he can’t be too good because if he has to be rebalanced that will cause an uproar. He needs to be released as perfectly balanced as possible which is hard because you can only learn so much without seeing him in the live environment where the stress test really happens. Hopefully they strike that balance from the get go. Sure some people will always complain but the stakes are higher for him because he’s been hyped for 90 days ahead of release.

Sigil Witch cost money to get, and she's a pretty banger champ. If we're going by an S-F tier, I'd expect like a B+/A

I would assume he'll be Sigil Witch 2.0, not in abilities obviously cause different classes but in the sense that he'll have decent damage and utility, and nothing too crazy on defense. I definitely don't think he'll be trash, but I'm definitely not expecting him to be at Scorpion or Torch level.

They've gotten very clear guidance over the years about what the players would love to be built into a champ, and usually do a good enough job with it. IMO, when they miss the mark, it's because they skewed too heavy towards defense, or they tuned a champ down too far.
I think Morbius could be very nice if they leaned into bleeds ramping him up. I'm hoping for not quite Magneto with #metal (there are too many #metal champs and he gets a few too many perks with it). They could balance it out by making him thoroughly pedestrian if he can't get bleeds off, like AA vs robots.

I think it would be cool for morbius to Regen off of bleeds on opponent. Like the more they bleed the more he can Regen.

He's going to be great, but only awakened.

Why? Because that's the only way to get us chasing the early access bundles and paragon crystals for him. Just need that dupe!

Even If he's a noodle he will get rebalanced but one thing I'm sure about is that his animations are gonna be smooth and he will be fun to play because the kabam's animation team does not miss!! Love gladiator and reworked ironman's sp3s

Since he is a science champ there is a high possibility he will need that sig but we've seen photon and silk this year who are really fun and don't rely on sig that much, we'll find out in a month

I've bought triple platinum pass especially for Morbius, so I expect him to be atleast an A tier would appreciate if s tier also a dual threat good in offense and defense... somewhat like Jessica Jones level of awesomeness at the least...
If his kit ends up anything less than A tier, not dropping another dime in this game.
