I Need Tips on How to Play Torch

Human Torch is one of the bets Champs in the game, easily top 10. But I don't like him. I'm terrible with him. I don't know how to use Torch properly. Does anyone have any tips or guides? Liek what SPs I should be using? And how to build up temperature without getting wrecked?

If mystic or energy champ just mlm to build incinerate. If other use heavy to build up to 20 temp. Sp1 gives 5 temp too. I just mlm to sp1 sometimes sp2 if they have low power. Bait specials when they have lot of power sting on them.

Generally he's a champ you can just wail on them for.

SP1 inflicts additional Incinerate debuffs, SP2 inflicts a reasonably lengthy stun. SP3 puts him in Nova Flame mode for a short time.

If the opponent isn't Mystic or inflicting energy damage, and thus building your own flame charges on their own, you want to parry and hold heavy as long as possible to build your charges, that's how you really deal out the damage.

Finally you decided whether to use his pre-fight or not based on whether you need to critically be inflicting only the Nova Flame passives instead of the Incinerate debuffs but you can only get the Pre-Fight again if you have him duped and then it's down to chance after he wins fights. Good times to use the pre-fight are against someone who shrugs off or otherwise immune to debuffs, Incinerate-Immune champs (especially Mephisto), or any otherwise more difficult fight.
