Can I reverse ascension?

I made a mistake in what I thought ascension meant and ascended the wrong champ, can we reverse ascension?

    Cannot be removed and applied to other champs like relics, per the recent live stream.

    It probably would have been nice to have an equivalent to a “Rank Down Ticket” (an ASCENSION DOWN item).
    1-time only, given out in mail to everyone, with maybe a couple month expiration to use it, then any remaining (unused) would be removed from game after first 2 months.

    I'd like to know this too, it literally tells you what it does in the menu where you make the choice.

    i would also love to know what they thought.
    i mean its a brand new feature so surely you assume it does something new atleast.
    and then look to find out what that is.

    That's exactly why they gave people enough to Ascend a 4 or 5 star champ, so you can get how it works without messing anything up too bad
