Capes Only Crystal - Dr Doom (Gladiator Side Quest)

Is there any reason why Dr. Doom doesn't award points for the Gladiator side quest for the Capes only challenge? It looks like he is in the crystal pool so not sure what I am doing wrong.

I used doom for cape objective. Didn’t face such issues.
Try after restarting

He does. But make sure you’re doing the objectives in order. You need to clear the mystic and tech objectives before you will get points toward the capes objective.
