Missing defenders in AW. ?

Is it just my ally? Only two players have defenders placed in my bg. The ally we are playing has full defense. We’ve had full defense entire season. Not sure what happened.

You’re likely playing on a different map and not everyone placed on that map - you’ve either progressed in tiers or are close to moving up and got matched with someone higher than you and are playing in their map.

Yep, a lot of people probably only bothered placing Defenders in the Current Tier Map (middle of the 3 Tier Map choices available to place persistent defenders in).

And so if you end up moving up/down in Tier (or playing a cross-tier war against, and on their map, another ally just across the Tier boundary), your defense will be whatever persistent defenders were actually placed in that +/- tier map (or lack of defenders).
