Does Zemo automatically cleanse Knull's debuffs at the beginning of a fight?

Got a war boss who's only sig lvl 65, so he'll only hit me with 5 debuffs, which in theory should all be cleansed by Zemo and he immediately gets rooted. Has anyone tried this?

Yes. He should be rooted at the start of the fight.
