BGs Attack Buff is not being used at all

Im rushing into BGs because I want to do the objectives, and, at least in Diamond, no one is taking advantage of the Tech buff stuff, not a single soul, everybody has Tech champs, but none are using them, the main class that people care about is Mystic, everybody bans Mystics and my d*mn Torch, got him to R4 to deal with this and everybody bans him now.

But the thing is, looks like for next Season we will need a different kind of nodes

I have 1 tech champion in my deck that gets an armor up or does armor break, and that is star lord. Also why do I need to take advantage of the attack node when Sigil Witch goes Unga bunga, 300k damage sp3 in 30 seconds.

Yeah, thats the point, why would we take advantage on a buff when we have better options without it?

The ones you use on regular basis are perfectly fine.

It’s basically a mystic dispersion meta if you want to argue it’s not just a pure nuke meta.

Which means most wins have nothing to do with skill and are reduced to chip damage and RNG drafts. Not very fun to be honest. I don’t feel like I have accomplished anything by having 2% more health and/or finished the fight a few seconds faster. But its awfully frustrating when you are on the other side of that result.

Granted I know that happens a lot at the elite levels of BG, but down in lower tiers with the average folks like me.. feels more like a casino.

I dont know bout that but you are right than most of the matches I played are usually differences of around 50 points, 48950 to 49000 kind of stuff

I should have said “less to do with skill” not “nothing to do with skill”. Obviously you still need skill - but RNG draft and AI behavior make a ton of difference in nuke metas like this one.

yeah but you need the skill for those matches where you have bad rng and do not have good counters.
yeah 30 sec kills with hulk, 20 sec kills with juggy are great and all, but winning the rounds when you are fighting those hulklings and rintrahs and squatches and abs mans, and **** with no proper counter those are theones that make it worth while....

but yeah it mostly comes down to trying to make sure that their fight will be longer than yours.
so far i am 13/1 W/L and yes it does help having a bunch a nukes ranked up and banning their nukes.....

I think Kabam is afraid of another meta like the power burn one and this is why we keep getting nuke metas

Which is a shame because I really enjoyed the power burn meta. When you have to be more strategic and creative with your strategies is more exciting to me than CGR sp2 and match over

How do you play her? Straight to sp3 while stealing the prowess? I tried my r3 once but she was getting too much block damage and the sp3 damage wasn’t that big either with 3 or so prowess, unfortunately.

Parry to sp3 with around 4-5 prowess on you then before dropping the sp3 hit them with a MLLLL combo

I’ve used Rocket a lot this meta, and Fantman/Nimrod have been even better than before, but yeah, I agree. There’s no point in selecting OG Ironman or someone when your opponent will cheese with Ronan, or use Sigil Witch, or just nuke with the numerous nuking options that get used every other meta. I’d rather take Hulkling and just kill my opponent in 40 seconds than worry about using a tech lol. It’s basically just a tiny bit of block penetration to worry about and that’s it.

Keep in mind the sp3 does more damage the more buffs you remove off of the opponent. I also run 5/5 MD always.

Edit: something else to add is she can take korg down this fast too because her mediums are energy damage
