Electro for BGs?

I'm not sure if I'm just being stupid or not, but would Electro be an actually decent choice for BG defense? He has so few counters compared to other good defenders, so his "Thorns" could help out. Plus his SP1 has weird Dex timing that could mess you up if you aren't spaced right.

Iunno. I could be wrong, but I just pulled him as a 6* and had that thought.

I've lost to some Electros, kill him in like 20 seconds with Kingpin but the damage back was so huge even tho they took over a min I lost.

Very annoying science defenders are good in this GC meta because they’ll counter the mystics that can very easily deal with the prowess buffs. You could use tech champs but they won’t necessarily be as good. And very few of them can counter electro

Took mine to rank 3 a few seasons ago and he has always put in solid work. Makes me wonder what a r5 electro could do

its like 50/50, his health is kinda low
if opponent has counter it will be quick fight and you may end up losing round.
only if they don't have anything good counter then it has high chance to give you win

You need to be strategic when you draft him. If one of your first defenders then opponent will be on the lookout for a counter on their draft but if they don't get a counter he is an easy win for you as they will take too much damage.

I agree he can be a good defender, but for me he’s a last minute pick as they could get a counter if you pick him early on.
