Silent Rank Up Store Boost Then Nerf

I noticed the other day, and even some videos were made about the rank up store reducing the prices of T4 basic, T2 Alpha, and 1/2 T5 basic cats being reduced. The T2 Alpha went down to 20 units per for what seem like a day or two. Then mysteriously they went back up to their original prices. Was this a bug? A mistake? Seems a little shady they were dropped in a pro player move then taken away.

Why would you ask if this was a bug, but then title it as "silent nerf"? Just state what happened and ask for an explanation instead of intentionally making this a bigger deal than it clearly needs to be.

You also automatically assume that dropping a price for a short amount of time is shady. Most businesses that drop prices for a limited time would call this a sale, which consumers tend to appreciate. I'm not saying that this isn't a bug or anything, but your language clearly insinuates nefarious motives on the part of Kabam with essentially no evidence to back it up besides the base situation.

I would be more likely to actually answer your underlying question if you had bothered to put it in a more straightforward manner.

Seems more like a lot of people crying 'silent nerf' when they encounter a bug recently.

I have to wonder why?

I'm not going to say Kabam have never silently nerfed anything, because they have. Although that's usually been a communication failure rather than deliberate intention.

However, the ratio of unintentional bugs to silent nerfs is literally tens of thousands to one.

The general explanation is almost always going to be: it's just another bug, folks.
