8.3 path rewards?

I'm hearing 8.3 will have 3 paths per quest rather than 6 paths? Honestly I'm not a fan of that at all as the path rewards was always something I and many others looked forward to.

I also heard, but can't confirm if this is true, that there may be 5* relic shards on the paths? That is the biggest waste of space kabam could've put out so I hope it's fake news.

Can we get some confirmation as to what the path rewards will be? Hoping there's some 7* shards (rather than 6*) , units and rank up materials like normal
