    It's not new. I believe it unlocks when you become Uncollected.

    Either uncollected or Cav but pretty sure it has always been uncollected

    Yes i think you're right. I vaguely remember people being absolutely pissed that Kabam did that when they really needed 1* hulk for the last quest

    The Hero crystal (80% 2*, 20% 1*) was introduced shortly after variant 4, then it was replaced shortly after that by the 1* crystal after the complaints about it being 80% 2*.
