Being nice in battlegrounds

Hey guys, I often give free wins to players I match below mysterium/celestial if their account is significantly underpowered compared to mine as I feel bad and can always climb later. This is common mainly in quantum or something where I see a guy with mostly rank 3s (my deck is mostly r5s or 7 star r2s) and he has practically no feasible chance of winning, but I often give the free win as I'm impressed they got so high and would feel like a win would not be properly deserved. Besides, I can always push higher later on as my deck is very strong. Will I be banned if I keep doing this?

That being said, I am overall in favour of this change since it will be nice to get higher solo event rewards since people will not be allowed to farm in platinum for 3/4 weeks straight.

Giving free Wins = loosing on purpose = Ban

I don't really consider it farming as I don't really do it in Victory track, only gladiator's circuit. But fair enough I guess, no more Mr Nice Guy

Being nice on BG was never an option. Otherwise they would had never implemented emotes and force them on us

Seems like from the Kabam comment on banning their method for determining point farming is a little more complex than just targeting someone who forfeits a match.

I doubt they even look at point farming if you are in GC. The successful method and concept is tied up in making sure you don’t advance in VC.

KT1 is right based on your description. The argument against it (and the “disagrees”) are based on the belief that Kabam isn’t really targeting farming for benefit but just any losing in general. I would take that with a grain of salt since there are inevitably people responding that are salty that any action was taken at all.

Idk why anyone should be banned for giving free wins to people, like who is complaining when they get a free win?

If you know the difference between casual normal grinding and abusing the exploit, then you are safe.

I think it's going to be a fine line with what they are going to determine to be a bannable offense. If OP keeps purposefully forfeiting matches then i think it's very possible Kabam takes action.

Kabam doesn't just throw a system together to determine unfair play. Rest assured this system has been running and receiving tweaks for several BG seasons. All of us have been profiled. New players are profiled against us. If you have concerns about your strategy change it. Kabam already has a list and is checking it twice.

Who is forcing them on you? I've never used them. You need to look up the definition of "forced".
