punished for playing the game why

since day one that I started playing this game in December 2015 I have always played this game religiously through good times and bad times when having bad health and being stuck in hospitals for months out of the year during that time I have been making different accounts and progressing through the way of playing and when gifting events came I would give myself no harm no foul since I'm putting the time and gifting myself just recently with this gifting event that happened I got punished by stripping my gold and my glory received which from what I seen is not illegal if you are the owner of your own accounts which I am and have proof because all the emails they are attached to the accounts when you make a new game account is with my name on it and before I did one of those tele surveys that they had to call you and you did a video call and I specifically asked the people from is it wrong to give yourself through these events and they said no you can gift yourself because they are your own accounts but you cannot log into someone else's account to gift but if the accounts are yours then it is okay during all these years I have been making multiple accounts to keep myself busy especially since 2020 and having multiple stays in the hospital which I could almost total out almost 1 year and a half of my life because of massive bacterial infection in my leg and foot that required multiple surgeries multiple weeks multiple hyperbaric oxygen chamber treatments staying in the hospital for 40 days and to pass the time I would play my game and during this event I gifted myself yes with the consent that it was given to me that it is okay but when I logged in yesterday I noticed that my 7 million in gold were gone and so are my 10,000 in glory when I pulled up my account I wrote to support and they gave me the generic answer of saying that it was a violation of terms that I farmed through a third party which I didn't the accounts are mine and they're all on the same device and I wrote to another one again and they gave me a different response. so how come they have double standard when do the video call with kabam when they asked how we could change the game or improvements I said I wish we could merge all our accounts to one for people that played this game for the longest time and they said they wish they could but they can't and there's where my question said so then you cannot be penalized for gifting yourself to go no as long as you are the original owner of the accounts in which I am but now I'm being punished which seems unfair because now it seems like it's a double standard now for the people that have multiple accounts for years not just making it just to get units and everything but for the ones who are playing for the love of this game in 2015-2016-2017-2018/2019-2020 until now why are we being punished by other people's mistakes when we are playing it correctly and now I feel this is incorrectly because I am the owner of the accounts it's no one else's account and I know kabam can see how the account was open through the emails even I wrote to them before and they go oh can you use the email that you have and I go it's the same one and then they go oh okay but now I get this which seems unfair

Since you mention Gifting and multiple accounts, I suspect you've grinded out an excessive number of Captain America's Gifting crystals, and that's pushed you over a limit that Kabam has defined as excessive.

There was mention about that somewhere from the mods.

I'm sorry for you that you've lost gold or glory.

But if that's all you've lost, then it's not a game-changing punishment - I'd recommend that you accept it as a learning experience and don't do it again.

Love how they hide these change in rules in fine print deep in the depths of forum rules and expects everyone to know. No reminders or nothing. Whether its not a game changing punishment or not, he should have instead received a warning or benefit of the doubt not to do something like that again. Very unprofessional

Time and time again they've allowed these practices to exist and called them "legitimate" even though, yes they do go against the nature of a GIFTING event.

Is it exploitative or abusive behavior? It really depends on where Kabam decided to draw the line. But the fact that even on the big yellow glowing announcement in the forums, there is no EXPLICIT MENTION of alt accounts not being allowed - and with our pre-established knowledge of alt accounts being deemed "acceptable" it's a bit of a failure on Kabam's part in terms of communication.

Now, if you had, say, 100 accounts, I honestly feel no sympathy. That is just.. so clearly abusive behavior and should be rectified. But the little guy with maybe 2 accounts? Doubt he was punished at all. Like I said, it really depends on where Kabam drew the line on this one. And I hope they actually define that soon and make it outwardly known via a forum post and a message in-game. That way we can avoid situations like this entirely.

Even if a guy did have 100 alt accounts i feel as though there should be a more direct boundary kabam sets as to what they deem abusive, rather than the whole “f around and find out” thing. Rather than waste someone hours of time making these alt accounts thinking its ok to do, kabam should have something set in stone rather than make things up on the spot. Its like that annoying dude that introduces a new game and changes up the rules once you’re winning. Feel like your message is spot on though, 100 alts is crazy haha, i feel like 5 should be the maximum considering kabam can monitor devices it seems. They really need to be more vocal as to what they deem Right and Wrong because clearly nobody’s on the same page with kabam on these things

As someone who found the magic "max" number of gmail/hotmail/yahoo accounts you can generate before fudging with equipment, the issue isn't being the owner of hundreds of mcoc accounts you created without aid of bots, it's the foolishness to just gift within this pool of accts and get pinched. I run a 30 person alliance that has i believe 5 other actual humans, and gifted between all our alts there and in other alliances. Pro tip next time - share the wealth.
