very disappointed in KABAM. it's time to delete MCOC for good

here's the issue so i have been playing MCOC for so many years now and i linked in an email address with KABAM a long long time ago when i started playing this game to which i have no access to now. i login to the game using my game center ID and i had no issues whatsoever but now i am changing devices, i am moving from apple to android and i messaged kabam to help me change my email address. i provided all the information they asked, like purchase history, location, proof of purchases, first achievements etc

here's the reply they gave me:

"What is the creation date of your account? You should be able to check your Google Play account(s) or email history to identify your earliest achievements and estimate the account creation date. Once we have verified account ownership, we will be more than happy to assist you further. We appreciate your utmost cooperation and patience. We look forward to hearing from you soon."

How do they expect me to know and remember the exact date of creation when i clearly told them i have no access to that email. This is just absurd!

If you go to downloads on the iOS App Store, it tells you the exact date you downloaded the game.

I'd try to figure out which apple ID you used first. Kinda sucks, but the process has to be that tedious to help ensure you're the actual owner of the account.

Unfortunately, legally, all of this runaround is there as a requirement to protect you, the consumer and the account holder of sensitive information.

You can give them the estimation. It isn't necessary that you have to provide them your exact date. The support team is quite considerate and lenient on this.

I can’t get support to help me either I don’t have all the security questions correct from years ago. I sent screenshots from within the account and from iTunes dating back to 2015 showing real purchases and date of download of the app- it’s absolutely absurd level of “security” like who would hack an acct just to ask support for a little help it’s beyond ridiculous . Like they’re programmed not to help if there’s any tiny loophole to avoid it. They could just ask a simple question only the acct holder would know like how many sigs are on your 4 star whatever or how many iso in your stash etc etc

I created my account with temporary mail several years ago, so it doesn’t exist right now. That is not my first account, so I don’t really remember the actual date of creation. Seems like nothing can help me🤣

This made me lose my old account lol I took a long break and forgot all my information, just had to start a new one sadly but I’m way past my old account in progress now. Still miss my old “Spirit of Vengeance” title tho

Exact same thing that happened to me. I had everything i needed except creation date of my account, which was emailed to me on my android device but i had switched to apple and that email was already 3 years ago. There should be a more efficient notice that is neutral to both apple and android if it means you lose full control of your account by missing irrelevant information that nobody cares for.

I see these threads occasionally pop up regarding the changing of email thing, and it seems like an IMMENSE hassle to change for some reason.

I say this because I made my account what, early 2015 (shortly after the game came out), and I used the email I was using everything for at the time. Since then, I’ve gotten a lot of my online accounts switched over to my much more active Gmail and would eventually like to do that with this game as my old email may not exist forever. Is it really as frustrating to do as Kabam makes it seem?
