So..gladiator

Grinded the BG solo objective to 450k to open a titan crystal and pulled one of the two champions I absolutely didn't want to.
(The other being knull which still would've been way better)

I just feel he's plain boring. Look at the other champions in the titan pool and look at gladiator. Minimal utility and barely above average damage and a gimmick that is very meh.
He's SO boring to build up and the return just isn't there?

Don't lose hope, maybe gladiator will get a balance/rework like fam lady deathstrike zemo and others

As a summoners choice you do expect he will get the Chavez Treatment rather than go the way of your Jane Fosters.

Didn't Lagacy also choose to get 7* Gladiator and took him to r2 from battlerealm brawl?

I hope he does get rebalanced but honestly, for me, he's just not interesting as a character because of the playstyle.
For example, my most wanted champ from the titan pool was vox just because he looks so much fun to play.
Gladiator on the other hand feels boring to me.

For sure. No way possible he's hitting performance goals with a bare handful of CCPers taking him to rank 5 as their gadillionth rank 5, meaning less than nothing. Meanwhile, those that have to be choosier with rankups are disappointed and thinking he mostly sucks from being tuned down to irrelevance. Doesn't help that everyone got used to kicking the **** out of him on his debut and formed an association of Gladiator=punk.

That said, Kabam is so slow with rebalances that maybe around next summer we'll see what they're doing to address his deficiency.

Absolutely. He still likes the champ alot but has voiced his displeasure on the kit and how it definitely wasn't something that should have been attempted on a summoner choice champion.

Giving us what the data shows we like, actually use when we need a win, and would appreciate in a champ, especially in the highly anticipated one that won the yearly popularity contest? That's just not how Kabam gets down.

Herc and Quicksilver feel unique in their own ways. Gladiator is just a generic cosmic with average damage and utility for his class. They definitely won’t overhaul him, but I’d love to see him get cool abilities as his confidence increases. The buffs don’t feel impactful at the moment

Yeah this is what I feel. I hope the rebalance makes him good (and I definitely feel like he’ll get one). Champs that were much better at release still got tune ups but he’s still such an uninteresting character. I wish White Tiger won so bad lol
