rework the ban system in AW

we rank fun champs then they get banned for a few seasons and by the time we can use them they lose a lot of their immediate value. is anyone tired of this cycle?

we're heading into the second season of a new global and 5 of the best counters are about to get benched. how is this fun?

titania, hulk...quicksilver, void, silk...? silk just came out and a lot of players have ranked her and r2'd their titanias...

at this point we're being forced to rank b and sometimes c-level champs who's value is inflated because of a lack of options and a temporary attack tactic. it also means wasting shards, catalysts, time, and money on great champs that we won't get to use.

i know we had this conversation 2 years ago, but constantly buying and benching new toys isn't fun, it feels cheap. please loosen up on AW a little, it's overly managed.

I still believe ban system in AW is very counterintuitive move. Beats the whole purpose of a war.

Completely agree, there should be limits.

People shouldn’t be able to get around hard work with a simple ban forever.

Good alliances already die only 3-4 times or less per war on the hardest maps with the hardest defenders ranked to the maximum rank possible in game. If you let us use the op champs wars will just finish 0-0 deaths constantly and it will just come down to time which i think everyone agrees is dumb. As it is I believe only 3 wars have ever finished 0-0 as is.

players are just getting silk. she was banned almost half the wars last season and with og hulk and titania blacklisted she will on the chopping block for the next few seasons.

why should players lose out on a brand NEW champ in the most competitive game mode?

why should we lose out on the top 5 counters?

where is the incentive to invest in new champions when they're made unusable so fast?

we're stuck in a constant cycle of investing in the best champs and barely being able to use them. it's counterintuitive to what war is supposed to be.

i remember. deaths were low, stress was high, and players complained about the same matchups. globals brought freshness to the mode, but it's too restrictive. we JUST got these champs and we can only use them after their value tanks in a few months. it makes no sense.

Who’s we? I don’t have silk as a 6 or 7. If she’s blacklisted, it doesn’t affect me at all. If a hot new champ is made to just crush a meta, it’s nice that crystal RNG doesn’t determine whether you have an easy path every war.

Theres almost 300 champs in game by now. If your upset you can't use 1 or 2 then you should probably be exploring other options. The name.of the game is to collect and rank as many champs as you can for all occasions.
