Finally got Paragon!

Beat 8.3 yesterday and got a rank 3-4 skill gem that I used on Kingpin. He joins Herc and Doom as the other rank 4s (actually Herc is r5). I also made what could be a controversial decision for some and took up Kingpin over my Nick Fury, what do you guys think?

Not controversial at all. Many have high ranked and ascended KP. My KP is rank 5, NF rank 4.

Wouldn't say there's any controversy in your ascension. I'm debating doing the same thing

Yeah I was hoping for a skill 4-5 from 8.3 and I 100% would have given it to KP over NF.

A month ago I honestly wouldn’t even have considered Kingpin, I’d been away from the game for almost a year and even though I knew he was buffed when I came back I didn’t really know the details. I only really started to like him with last months side quest where you had to do the tiers a bunch of times to get the rewards. He helped me a lot with a quicksilver in tier 8 that was giving me trouble

To be fair, NF was also amazing for that Quicksilver last month… Start the fight with 6 tactical charges (QS is a #Avenger) and keep them up with sp1, so evade is not an issue… then just bleed him down…

It would be controversial only if you did the other way around.
Kingpin is better attacker than nf even with 5/5 md,
Also Kingpin is a staller

Also is it wise to ascend r5 kingpin or r4 hercules first? For bg purposes? Who to choose?(I'll r5 herc soon)

First thing: Congrats!

Second: before you ask, if you've already completed TB EQ 100%, you will need to submit a request to support to get access to the Paragon Gauntlet for this month, but there is nothing they can do about the Treats Trader - Paragon event, so you will not be able to get those points for sugar spent back in that event

I took kingpin to R4 before Fury and R5 before Fury.
