Abs Man vs. Torch

Am I missing something here? I meant to post this the other day, I think I was still in VT but still the current meta. Is no damage accurate for Abs Man being a mystic vs. Torch? I tried looking through abilities and don’t notice anything that would help him.

@Wong_98 i figured that. But thought after so many hits on Torch he would activate his nova flames which would catch him for a little damage

That only happens in AQ because of the Node that makes him Nova at 7 Smolders. In this match up, Torch will not Nova.

He can't reach nova without being able to place incinerates while he is on D unless he drops a sp3
