Block damage in AQ

I haven't played Map5 in ages, and was acustomed to Map6. This season I noticed what felt like unusually block damage and parry damage taken, which felt far more than opponents do in Map6. This is particularly apparent on the Doombots, with the Mutant one in particular being able to do 40% damage with an SP2 into block.

Is it just me or has it always been like this on Map5?
